Welcome back!
Today was a super rest day for us as we get ready for another fun-filled week of driving! We slept in again, and Matt brought us to one of his favorite food spots. We also did some laundry (thank god- we needed this).
When we got back, we hit up the pool! And did some more sleeping…
And then, Matt and Sarah took us out to this AMAZING sushi place in Pasadena called Sugar Fish. They were so nice to take us out and treat Joey for his birthday! I cannot stress to you just how delicious this sushi was. We each ordered a selection off of their menu (I got the “trust me”) and then they bring out each sushi piece one by one. It’s all prepared and you’re not supposed to add any extra sauces to it, and you’re supposed to eat it immediately because it is THAT fresh. I don’t know how we will ever return to Sushi Palace after living through this experience.
And honestly… that was our day! I just want to say one more HUGE thank you to Matt and Sara for being such wonderful hosts these past few days. They really went above and beyond to make our time here special and we are so appreciative! THANK YOU FOR BEING YOUR AWESOME SELVES!!
We are heading to bed now so we can gear up for our first drive and location tomorrow… VEGAS.
