THE TIME HAS ALMOST COME! For those of you who may or may not know, Joey and I will be traveling across the country (and back!) over the next THREE WEEKS. Almost a month of our lives. In a car. Together. I’m not worried at all.
But seriously, I’m not worried at all. We have planned this trip for literal months and are so excited to get on the road! We will be driving all the way to California, spending some time on the west coast, and then returning to good old New Jersey. Each leg of the trip will take about a week, and we are pretty much in a new place every day, so GET EXCITED for some quality content.
My goal is to update this blog everyday, but TBH I’m on vacation so we’ll see how committed I actually am. This is also a good time to mention that I am not proofreading or spell checking this. I left that life behind in grad school. I am also using the Word Press App to post everything, so I have no idea what this looks like on a desktop, sorry if it’s a train wreck.
Also, Joey does not want to partake in the blog, so I will periodically trick him into providing content. Here is the first round:

What are you most excited about?
“I already told you the horseback riding, learning Italian, eating the food…”
What state are you most excited about visiting?
“Nashville.”
That’s not a state, but we’ll take it.*
*after reading this interview, Joey would like me to publicly state that he is, in fact, actually smart.
What are you least excited about?
“Having to stop because you’ll have to go to the bathroom all the time”
Rude. Sorry I’m healthy and well HYDRATED.
At what point do you think we’ll lose our minds?
“I don’t think we will. I have faith.”

I would like to state that we have a contest going to see how many cows we will see on our trip. I think we will see more than 200 cows, and Joey thinks we will see less than 200. I’m very committed to winning this competition so please feel free to let me know of specific places to drive by so we can see hoards of cows. If you have ideas for other things we should count, let us know!
